Darrell Stanton seals the deal
Element Skateboards recently put together a concept internet video called TRIO. It is a web-series of skate-parts from Element’s three newest pros, Chad Tim Tim, Levi Brown, and Darrell Stanton, that have been released over the course of the past month respectively.
Darrell Stanton’s part was released yesterday and he really sealed the deal that is TRIO. Darrell is the guy who blasted himself into popularity with his treacherous backside noseblunt and overblunt on the precarious Clipper ledge in SF. Whether or not he likes it, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I can’t hear his name without thinking of those two tricks. And I never really understood his move to Element. Coming off of Real, which alludes a certain rawness, I always thought the move softened his image a little. I never really saw him fitting in over on Element – until now.
Darrell’s new part in TRIO feels like the triumphant return of the Darrell that I’ve been wanting to see since his choice to become part of the Element family. He got comfortable, he fits in, and he kills it. Check it out below and see for yourself.
Be Rad. Enjoy.
