Cut Copy first injected themselves into my soul with their incredibly infectious sophomore effort, In Ghost Colours from 2008. If you don’t own that album, you really should, as it is perfect music for the upcoming summer. The trio are working on an unnamed third LP set to be released in 2011 and they just dropped a new track off of it. Head over to their website or check below to get your hands on the latest Cut Copy track, “Where I’m Going.” The song is very reminiscent of The Beach Boys, with the “ooos” and “yeahs” and plenty of vocal hooks to get you singing along by the first or second listen through. I’m heading to the beach this weekend and this is definitely going to be a song a listen to as I am driving there.
