Rad Video // Every NBA slam dunk contest
While I certainly haven’t watched a Slam Dunk Contest in recent years, they used to be an event to actually get excited for. It is most likely because I was a kid, but watching guys like Michael Jordan, Shawn Kemp, and Dominique Wilkins was always enthralling. My dad, my brother, and I would all gather ’round the TV. Oh, you get the idea.
Well, Hoopism put together a video application that lets you browse every single NBA Slam Dunk Contest, by year, score, and with videos. You heard me correctly. EVERY SINGLE SLAM DUNK!
The video app lets you browse each dunk my hovering over the dot. Doing so brings up the information about the dunk – player, year, dunk, and score – and then by clicking the dot, a video is also brought up. Can you say rad? Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to waste my morning watching videos of the slam dunks of yesteryear.
Be Rad. Enjoy.
Make your own Jackson Pollock
The Jacksonpollock.org computer application is nothing new, I know, but it is something that I forgot existed. I first found it, and now found it again, when HypeMachine was doing maintenance on their website; when doing so, they provide the link for the Pollock app. The said app allows you to create you own Jackson Pollock painting just by moving your mouse cursor and clicking to change colors. It seems mundane, but it is rather addicting. So check it out, get your abstract expressionistic groove on, and VIOLA! You are a Jackson Pollock. Check out the one I made below.
Be Rad. Enjoy.
