New Banksy in San Diego // web exclusive photo

with one comment

UPDATE: Oceanside mural of rat is just that – it’s not a Banksy.

I can rejoice! San Diego has been blessed with a Banksy piece (possibly).

Read about and look at it on the following sites: TMZ, SanDiego.com, and SignOnSanDiego.

Check out The Be Rad Blog’s web exclusive photo as well. You won’t find it anywhere else on the web.

So what do you think – real or fake? I’m leaning more towards fake.

Why did he choose to make the “Kite Runner” sign red/orange as opposed to the yellow ones seen in Los Angeles?

I’m used to seeing his rats in black not white. It seems almost too perfect that the wall is black and the rat is white. Questionable right?

The rat seems unfinished does it not?

Just got word that the piece smells like crayons Krylon. I’m not sure if that is his usual medium, but again, questionable.

Isn’t that rat just a “copy” of “Exit Through The Gift Shop’s” cover?

Oh, and it has yet to be confirmed…

Only time will tell.

Two new Banksy pieces have been spotted and cofirmed in Los Angeles.

I’m really diggin’ on the Charlie Brown work. Schulz is probably rolling over in his grave.
