Rad Video // SebastiAn – “Embody”
Off his highly anticipated debut album, Total, SebastiAn delivers his new single, “Embody”, via video form today. Directed by, the oft used video director of Ed Banger Records, So Me, this video is an instant classic. The song certainly has that distinct production unique to SebastiAn, but the overall sound is a lot lighter than I was expecting. Are we to think that his entire album is to sound like this? Or (I’m going out on a limb here) maybe this could be some sort of stunt (remember Threnody) to throw everyone off about the sound of the new LP. Eh? Eh?
Be Rad. Enjoy.
Sad Keanu is back
There is new picture of Sad Keanu making its way around the web. Oh, I love this meme. Mike Mitchell, an amazing artist and clearly a clever chap, has gone ahead and made a nice little mashup of the previous Sad Keanus. Give it a look…
In a completely unrelated note, I’ve been listening to SebastiAn all week trying to understand him and his music. His reputation definitely seems to precede him, but I still need to listen to his shallow catalogue a bit more to get a real feel for all that he is. With a full length album supposedly in the works, there is an unknown song ripped from one of his shows and I think it’s the best original song he’s got. You can find the song under the name “Busy Busy Busy” or “Crevasse,” either way, it’s unreleased. But seriously, Ed Banger needs to put this song out already – it’s two minutes of pure energy and I can’t seem to get enough.
Be Rad. Enjoy.
